@liamfrantic last but not least....this pissing contest is as old as the spec ops themselves. the brits will obviously believe who they think is better as will us americans. most of the commenters here have prob never served in actual combat more or less an actual special forces group. as long as we stay, i.e. brits and americans stay allies than thats all that matters. cheers

@liamfrantic (cont)...SEALS were not formed from SBS but from our own UDT teams. thats not to say they dont train with SBS or learned a thing or two. to say that all of US spec ops are purely based off the Brits is outright stupidity. listen, yanks dont think we're super soldiers. we just know were better than u and prob better than most. Green Berets, DEVGRU/ST6, Delta, Rangers, MARSOC, all spec ops and u think their "eliteness" derived from your spec ops? we do a great job of training our own

@liamfrantic first off nobody will really know the truth about anything when it comes to delta. to secretive. secondly, it does not matter if the british formed special forces. that does not give you the title of "masters of spec ops" or that nobody can do it better than you. third off the brits have fought more wars, but knights and shining armor have nothing to do with sniping somali pirates. agreed? the people that have taken spec ops to the next level are the americans, bottom line ...(cont)

Everyone chill the fuck out, Fellow Brits of course be proud of the military, we have some of the best trained soldiers on the planet but show respect to th U.S forces who have an awsome military with some of the best trained soldiers in the world too. I thought we were supposed to be allies for fuck sake !

@soflo23 and originally i was saying our marines are better than american marines, our SBS re better than SEALS and our SAS are better than DELTA. you have size and tech, we have superior knowledge and training. Look it up online, buy books the truth is catalogued all over the place available. Only a fool would think otherwise

@soflo23 the british SAS are the first counter terrorism unit formed in the world. Out of 1000 applicants you may get 3 percent who pass, the american delta force of a ratio of 1000 gets 7%.

Also the british navy was first founded then the SBS, which the navy seals based their infastructure on. The British forces have also fough in more wars and conflicts than any other nation, terrain and climate. Just face it all the american bravado and tech does not make super soldiers.

@liamfrantic lol ok buddy. dont get good training? when i was in the marines we recieved some of the best training available on planet. the same training that kept me alive for two tours in iraq. haha!! what american marine friend do u have?? you're either lying or you "marine friend" is prob talking shit because he cant hack the corps. and i know what the difference between SAS and SBS are u tool. are u really comparing SEALS to SBS?? SBS are about a couple pegs below them brotha. truth hurts

@MUFCFrankie i was in the marines and have been to iraq twice and worked alongside SEALs on very few occasions. i do have respect for anyone that serves their country. i never said RM's are exempt from that. i just think its crazy that British people really do believe that RM's are better than a tier 1 group like Navy Seals.

I doubt it cos if you were you would probably have some experience with the RM's and have a lot of respect for them.
