This is how we haul our bins. I was helping out a collegue, my codriver taped me. This system is a Translift system mounted on a 250hp DAF CF, watch my other video for the camerapositions, the way it works inside.
Just noticed other vids on the net.. i got 4 bins in 30 secs.. Grinn

  • GREAT JOB! I'd love to see more outside action! Funny how the little stick folds out when the arm is being used! And how come no other country ever thought of a system that dumps two bins at once?!

  • Yah.. it feels like the dutch always have to do stuff more efficient somehow.. only means we have to work harder :( And there are no rules inplace yet for how many bins is allowed. This company i work for sets the standard at 1600 a day (luckely not EVERY DAY!) for restwaste (grey bins)

  • And the little stick is safety, it should be about as long as the arm sticks out in the bottom position, Before it reaches out. There's flashing lights on the back.. a big sticker and a ledbeam.. but still ignorent fools pass me on the right, in harms way. So it's safety all the way. I noticed in the other vids that there's hardly ANYBODY on the streets!

  • Where is this?

  • i'm just going to edit the location on on the map.. didn't know that was an option.. untill last night.. lol

  • I'm now wondering as i entered the location on the googlemaps option (date/location) ... where it's supposed to show up!? in other words.. i've entered it.. but does it show up for you guys? yep.. a noob at youtube.. i know.. that's me!

  • ive often thought about that i never thought it was used!!

  • Grinn.. just means we gotta haul more bins! An averige sideloader area is set for a maximum of 1600 bins.. and once you've been there.. it's no fun anymore!

  • If you've got Windows MovieMaker when you save it it gets compressed... on the newer ones you can choose how much you want it compressed...

  • Now you can't complain about that... an ASL actually designed to do two at a time! NICE VID!!
