  • John Sloman is a great vocalist and Conquest is good, but different Uriah Heep album. C'mon! Slade on drums! I love this record. Good lyrics too. One of my all time favourite Heep Albums, probably the best in my point of view.

  • still a great tune from an underrated album!

  • these are the SUPERTAMPS!

different Uriah Heep album but very underrated...it has many good songs...

  • John Sloman is one of the greatest!!!

  • Been a while since I listened to Conquest all the way through, but this track is easily the one I remember more than the others. Brilliant opener to the LP, John Sloman a darn good vocalist as well. I'd have loved to have heard David Byron sing this one. The whole track, though, shows Heep back on form again after a couple of average LPs previously. Thanks for posting this clip. Anyone remember Heep appearing on some late night variety club show performing this song? I remember seeing it.

  • this tune is so intense and dramatic...and makes me so sad :(

  • Hmmm ive been with Heep from the start, this era didnt quite work im affraid.

  • Mick Box has an excellent solo on this song maintiaining the Uriah Heep sound.
