Prof. Wendy Jacobs organized an MIT conference in conjunction with Gallaudet University for the deaf. She built a floor with transducers which carried an audio signal into the floor. The result was a floor which vibrated or resonated with sound. I was asked to throat-sing and so the audience was literally feeling the sounds I was making. So awesome. The look on the crowd's faces. The conference explored many issues of sound and touch/resonance.
