  • wonderful thx for posting...i always wished the count's begging for forgiveness (6:05 - 6:35) was a longer piece...as its such an emotional part of the opera

  • I cried when the count apologize himself. It's the best version

  • I love the scene between Figaro and Susanna when she's pretending to be the Countess! It's so funny!

  • Oh thank you for posting this. The very best nozze di figaro that I have EVER seen. I so wish I could have seen it in person...

  • The pause between "perdono" and the countess's answer is pure awesomeness. You ask yourself, how will she react??? and then you find out "...e dico di sì". Most beautiful scene of forgiveness ever!!!!

  • possibly the most incredibly sublime piece of music of all time. Its incredible the feeling you get when it gets to contessa pedoro.

  • Finlay is sublime.

  • Thank you for the great clips!

  • @mouthmouse that is my favorite part!

  • senza offesa ma una ripassata al tuo italiano farebbe bene anche a te...si dice "se lo AVESSE fatto non SAREBBE SEMBRATO...", by the way I think this is the standard translation of this sentence, I don't think they translate it each and every time they record it...so maybe this is the reason the lines remained " men, bring your weapons!"
