WHOUAAAA ttoooo FUN !!! :D

Gotta love Ferrari guys, always looking for an excuse when they get beat. In regard to Mr Chalk vs Cheese, I agree the two cars are on opposite ends of the automotive spectrum but on the track it comes down to power to weight ratio and the MGB will win that one all day long in capable hands. If your not first your last Mr.Ferrari excuse maker. Nice V8 Conversion by the way and great driving.

@v8bloke It's got 490 hp!

Boys! To compare like for like you need a Stig and a stopwatch never mind bhp per ton. Clearly V8 bloke has all the ingredients to piss all over supercars Brains handling horsepower and balls. Very impressed. Do you have plans to race and have you de castered it? You seem to have a pretty neutral setup
POST MORE ADVENTURES!

@REDLEN308GTB Chalk to Cheese? Maybe so.....At least the guy in the ferrari looks cool while he's getting spanked on the track. It's all about the lap times my friend. If I had dropped that much coin on my ride and got owned in such a way, i would seriously reconsider my objectives.

@v8bloke Some comments are trying to make excuses for a Ferrari being weighty blah blah.
The truth is you have a very nicely modified car that is being very well driven NICE.
I enjoyed watching your vid very much thanks.
I have owned an MGBGTV8 and they are heavy steering and as you pointed out suspension from the 50's, well done.
No plans to race. Car is not decastered and is running standard camber(bottom A arms). More adventures to come. Cheers.

Nice car, but please explain to your readers that to compare with the Ferrari is comparing chalk and cheese, the power to weight ratio is what makes a car faster or slower than another and as your car probably weighs less than 900 kg and makes as much or more Hp than the Ferrari that weighs probably 1600kg it will be nearly twice as fast. This does not detract in any way from how good your car is but just explains how it easily passed both Ferraris.

@REDLEN308GTB FYI my car had 293bhp at the flywheel and weighs 970KG but there is no getting away from the fact that the MG has its design roots in the 1950's and has a heavy live axle flopping around on leaf springs at the back. Suspension is uprated but uses all the standard geometry and mounting points.
Im not having a dig I think they are great cars but I think I have loads more fun in my MG than I would in a Ferrari. Would be interested to kow how many horses the black car has though.
