1994 saw the release of the Acorn RISC OS version of Simon the Sorcerer. Published by GamesWare it originally came on floppy disc followed by a CD version with voice overs.
Problem was on the Acorn the voice samples got really downgraded. I remember reading that they were supplied to the Acorn converting software company like that and people weren't pleased! Although I think this is the voiceless version that came on floppy instead of CD.
Ah, that music brings back memories. What a game - I loved the way you could 'pick up' that ladder and casually drop it into your hat for safe keeping...
I remember mass hysteria over this game. I didnt see the fuss.
