I drove Rescue 68 many times in the 10 years I served on OAFED. It's been a good year and a half since I resigned but I still miss it sometimes.

I guess that would make sense if the pt was already in the BLS rig. All the ALS backup runs I've done in Dane so far have been close enough to where we got on scene before the pt was packaged.

The first ambulance had a Q on it why werent they using it? That would have made the video cooler.

Is that second unit Madison's rig? Are they going to the same call Code 1?

It is Town of Madison's rig. The Oregon truck did an ALS Intercept with the second truck. The second is just following behind on the way to the hospital.

Actually Oregon isn't ALS. They're an IV-Tech service. That was Town Medic 66 following. Once an intercept happens the lower level ambulance returns to quarters, so my guess is the Town was on a separate call and was just riding the wake of Oregon's rig.

In Dane county ALS hops on board the BLS truck. The ALS Ambo trails to the hospital....usually.
