"Pippin" went to his first show - Jim Porcher presented him at the Zia Arabain Classic in the sport horse in hand division, where he scored an amazing 91.7% - he won the high point award, receiving a 9.5 on his trot and a perfect 10 on "balance, harmony and suitability as a sport horse"! The judge commented "tremendous prospect as a dressage horse." Not only were we thrilled by his score, we were equally pleased with how well he presented himself at his very first show. He also showed in the half Arabian gelding halter division in the Arabian show, and entered the dark caevernous indoor arena, the sole entry in his age class, trustfully following Jim into the big empty dark arena, where he also behaved with amazing composure for a not-quite two-year-old. This is a great start to what we think will be an awesome show career! Can't wait to see him under saddle in another year!

I saw this horse last year. What a looker! Absolutely gorgeous horse, and although I didn't know how well he did at the time, I knew he would do well. 91.7% fully earned!
