KP Provides Links to 1582 LTTE's Worldwide Bank Accounts

Kumaran Pathmanathan who is in custody forfeits his assets. This was announced by Defence Spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella.

Kumaran Pathmanathan alias KP during interrogations revealed of the funds and assets of the LTTE. He is being grilled on these assets found in various countries. It includes LTTE funds to the tune of billions of Dollars. Part of it had been secured through rackets and the collection of ransoms. The LTTE had maintained several bank accounts in some countries. It is bared that KP has 1582 bank accounts worldwide.
Canadian CID sleuths have given a very confidential report in this respect to Interpol. There is also information that no other terrorist organization in the world had maintained such a large number of bank accounts. In the meantime, KP had also disclosed of individuals and organization which had indirectly supported the LTTE. Minister Rambukwella emphasized that legal action would be instituted against such individuals and organizations.
