This is a very simple robot that uses a simple switch as a sensor and stands on only two wheels with inverted pendulum mechanism.
When the robot is going to fall the motor starts and moves the robot to the direction it is going to fall, so the motor torque about the center of gravity that is higher than the motor makes the robot balanced.

  • That's a good simple robot.I also try to make this but i don't understand the wiring on the instructables."Can you make a video of tutorial of this robot"?

  • @fidorahman It is easy you have 4 batteries connect NC pin of the switch to one side of batteries connect NO pin of the switch to other side of batteries and connect COM pin of the switch to the one pin of the motor and connect the other pin of the motor to the middle of 4 batteries. Just follow the diagram

  • Hey won't your robot be more stable if you increase the height of the batteries? If it's taller it will take longer to fall over and I think it will stay upright longer that way.

  • Balancing a high CG object is easier.

  • pretty slick for a simple project, it would work even better with AAA batteries so there would be less counter-balance.

  • It is easier to balance a high CG object; using AAA butteries lower the center of gravity.

  • How is this retarded?

Do you understand the creativity it took to develop such a system?

  • Just add a tooth brush head to the bottom
