Started P90X2 and bought a juicer! Actually, they were independent events, but I do think the extra nutrients I can get from the Breville Juicer will help me get through P90X2.

  • jiucing gets rid of the fiber content

  • @187ffkev That's the point of the video. Juicing removes fiber, which means that any nutrients (and sugars) are quickly absorbed by the body because digestion is unnecessary. That can be good or bad depending on what you juice. If you are juicing apples and carrots, that's a huge blood sugar spike. Something like kale won't do that.

  • Great video Dave thanks. I NEED THAT SHIRT!!! Where'd you get it???

  • @ThePresentpresence Angela from wwwDOTcaliforniacavemomDOTcom gave it to me.

  • Loving the shirt!

  • so if it keeps the fiber then maybe I should use my regular juicer

  • @mauricestaples I think that is a high powered blender, like a vitamix. Very different animal than this juicer that actually separates the fiber out from the juice.

  • what about the Montell Williams juicer that keeps the fiber in the juice is that still good

  • @mikenick123 Normally, I'd agree with you. Consuming juice is just silly, unless you are about to do some really high intensity (from a heart rate standpoint) exercise or if you've just finished doing so. The high GI sugars are quickly converted into glycogen making sure you have what you need in the tank. Other than pre/post workout I really limit my carb intake and have virtually no high GI sugars. That makes my body insulin responsive, so sugar feels like caffeine or an NO pre workout drink.
