Grizzly Relic & Treasure-3 LEGGED CAST IRON BEAN POT KETTLE WITH BAIL HANDLE

I have been finding these in pieces all over this property but finally found one in relatively complete condition. This one has a nice crack on the bottom and a curious ring of foreign silver or lead metal around the rim. I suspect it was used to melt down silver or lead at one time and that is when its bottom gave way. This piece is only missing a small ring on the side of the kettle and the lid that I had hoped to find, but alas it is still elusive. I was tickled to find this fine example and only can pray there is more to be found.

That would hold a lot of beans! Reminds me of "Blazing Saddles"!
