I was in class during my last year of high school, my teacher would let us listen to music while doing work. I had my radio when the nervous DJ cut the song off early and said,"NBC's Tom Brokaw is reporting that planes have crashed into both towers of the World Trade Center. We now go to NY and Dan Rather. May God help us all." I ran to the phone room and hit the intercom access button to announce the bad news over the intercom.

God Bush was so awesome back in 01, too bad the economy went to shit and he had to go to war with Iraq for oil...and arguably lost. Had a chance to be a great president.

It has been nearly 10 years. I was 7 years old, and I remember September 11th 2001 like it was yesterday. It was that day that I realized that my life had been decided. I would serve my country and join the military when I turned 17. I am now enlisted in the United States Air Force, and I am ready to fight against the assholes that did this to us!
God Bless the United States of America!

@LongLiveOx Yeah, Well that's why I said that "SOME Justice has been served". Even if it hasn't been proven that Bin Laden plotted 9/11, many of his followers and fellow, "alkidaists" did plan the attacks on the World Trade Center. It is quite clear that he hated America and I think we can see that in many of the videos that he made, vowing to one day, attack Americans. Who cares if there is evidence or not anyway. This guy was a frekin terrorist and needed to be killed long ago.

@seattlekid9 - Justice has not been served. It was never proven that Bin Laden plotted 9/11.

Today May 1st, 2011; My fellow Americans, we have gained back some justice. Osama Bin Laden is dead. The war is far from over though. R.I.P. those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001. May you rest easier knowing justice has been served.

Watching this you feel embarrassed to see the news nearly 10 years later. Here we are starting another presidential campaign season of BS promises & pandering, while Bin Laden still walks free. Does Afghanistan even get discussed anymore? We bitch about paying too much for gas and how tough it is to get a job while troops are still dying there. Too many have sacrificed to rebuild that foreign country when what we needed to do was get that SOB and get out. Can we make this a priority Mr. Obama?!
a day i will never forget, as i lived in the neighboring city of Bronx.
