a little tip if you use disortion on a really hard way green day will not sound like the original, green days original sound is not really with a hard disortion, i saw them when they were in Stuttgart, with a meet and greet (Magazine Price draw??!!) and i asked them they had a little bit disortion and most of this song was played with an effect pedal.

i think you should think about using the middle of the pedal with acoustic and a little bit disortion

@MrMetalFreeeek First of I was not going in any way for the "original Green Day sound" I was just playing a Green Day song on my own guitar with my personal amp settings. Secondly, not everyone has an effect pedal. Just meeting Green Day once does not make you an expert on there sound. I am entitled to play this in any way i choose, especially based on my limited amp rig that I had at the time.

It's actually a Shecter Hellraiser Diamond Series.

Shecter is my favorite type of guitar, but ibanez is a close second.
