I read the description and I think I know how it works, oh and yes i saw it already (i did it myself). When you dash then pivot the direction that your momentum is going into is the opposite of your pivot. Since the pivot is near to edge the full pivot animation does not occur yet you turn the other way around. Then you phantasm onto the ledge because of the time consumed from the frames not being shown and alter the momentum once more.
