De Niro's acting is speechless
-
Its sad when you think that everything after the opium scene was just a dream.

Are they all were Judas in the story or just Debras family ?

Max don't really have betrayed..was only himself.
Like Deborah..who chose "itself" instead of the love of his life (remember the dialogue at the restaurant? The golden cage?).
Deborah don't want that Noodles see Max's son ( she is "only" the stepmother) for a simple reason...
Why would confirm that he was right when said her that hated Max for one reason..were the same kind of person.
Max has chosen himself..she too.
Nobody won, everyone has lost.. speechless.
Ps Sorry, don't speak english.

Elizabeth McGovern didn't have a pleasant experience working with DeNiro, and she believes her performance was lacking. I adored her in this. Especially in this scene.

The acting, the music, the photography, the poetry...
I'm bawling my eyes out. Truly my all time favorite movie.

@Goldminotaur I agree with you 100%. What I like most is even though Noodles did some horrible things when he was younger (MURDER AND RAPE) you still find yourself admiring him when he gets older. I would say his return to New York as an old man is his REDEMPTION!!!!
people always say The Godfather is the greatest movie ever. Once Upon A Time In America is the most beautiful movie of all time. Sergio R.I.P
