Explosion at Texas Oil Refinery Hurts 4

An explosion rocked an oil refinery Monday in a violent blast that shook buildings miles away and injured at least four people, the mayor said. Officials said all workers were accounted for about an hour after the explosion. (Feb. 18)

oh man i remember that happening. i was in the jr. high when it exploded.

It was a destillation tower that was overfilled , they didnt have any working level control on the tower and they didnt have any torch on that refinery .

i remember that the shock wave was so massive i felt it over in snyder my dad whos the fire chief of snyder had to go help and ifght the fire
