  • Beautiful. I would love to play this song on my radio show Empowered Women. How do I get permission to do that? I'll give credit...

  • @Secretdesigncreation All rights are owned by Joanne Shenandoah and/or her record company. You would need to contact Joanne Shenandoah or her publicist.

  • Imagine what could have happened, if columbus was killed while crossing the Atlantic. A whole new history would be created. I wonder what would have happen to the Native?

  • @khmerforvaver The same thing would have happened because eventually the lands would have been discovered and colonized by any number of foreign countries. Gold and other riches are strong motivations to wipe out entire nations of people to get it. Also, regardless of whether it was Columbus, Cortez, France, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, etc., natives of the Americas would still have died by the millions from exposure to smallpox, measles, etc. because they had no natural immunity to them.

  • @katydidscorner we were not discovered. we discovered you offshore where we live.

  • @McAleen My point is that eventually Europeans, Asians, Arabs, etc. would have found the two brand new beautiful continents to rape and pillage after killing and/or exploiting (enslaving) all the native inhabitants. The natives did not have disease resistance to killer germs and viruses and the same number would have been killed by the diseases and the remainder would have been killed or kicked out of their lands because of greed.

  • The north american continent was great before the white man, and then became a world power, but a lot is expected to whom a lot is given. ¿are most americans living upo to these expectations?

  • Tears of Joy Fill my eyes when I think of the peace that will flood this place .. Yeha .. <3

  • So soothing, quietens your spirit, empowering, regardless of the outcome,we as a people have survived,we will continue to do so.

  • @katydidscorner Well it was the white man who gave smallpox, TB etc to the Indians, put them on reservations, starved them and put them in schools which were nothing more then death camps..

If we could turn back time and stop the Europeans from leaving Europe North America would be a better place to live.

  • @katydidscorner i do understand what you are saying, that no matter what it was bound to happen, i disagree...becos my mothers people are still here, despite everything, so, yes i DO think things would be different.

  • @MrNYGOLD just ignore people who say natives came from asia we know its bullshit pay no attention bro

  • @jandbonner ..... around 90% of america has the native blood in them somewhere but most do not know or is taught not to be proud unless you live on a reservation it is really the "americas " 1st recorded secrete and still is well hidden to this day but the full blooded natives are the smallest minority

  • @rebelchituhuh We fear the unknown. Pray about it. I did and I'm no longer afraid. It's not the end, it's the beginning.

  • @katydidscorner Umm. Native Americans would have never had those diseases if we had no contact with immigrants. The government that you all abide with placed those diseases onto natives through packages, clothing, blankets...so on and so forth.
