Jan St. John invites "gratitude pioneers" to express
appreciation to someone new every day for 30 days.
It's a Grand Experiment that's sure to shed new light
on the power and practice of gratitude.
Thank you for participating...and don't forget to
"play it forward."
its better to use words than a hand jesture to thank our troops.

I think this is so great that you are spreading the word about this. I agree that it is amazing how much thanking someone can do. I just had four US soldiers at staying at my house during a break, and I only knew one of them first, but when I thanked them for their service, I saw in their eyes that they really appreciated my thanks.

I wish you great success w/ this, I could not agree w/ you more. If people spent a little more time being "grateful and thankful" vs. not trying to for one moment to see where people are coming from and giving them a brake, not to mention being scared, defensive or angry, we could change the world.
Are you considering offering suggestions of ways people can express gratitude w/out having to get to personal, e.g. in the city it's hard
