@iseefurtherthanyou She's had hearing aids since she was 2, but none of them worked as well as the one you see in the other video. She can read lips, too, which help her actually SAY words. I know a woman who is deaf and she can respond to me as long as I am looking at her, so she knows what I'm saying. She can talk very well with her voice, not only through signing.

@z3329885 Someone deaf doesnt always mean they are mute.
Many or almost all of them try to mimick the lips and breathing. Ever seen how they get jack skellington's mouth to look like hes talking? Some actually do it well while others have heavier lisp. ou can still hear that in her voice a small lisp there. I think she was born with no hair in the ears to catch different soundwaves but im sure she was able to here faint ones.
