The Smoke's Back ! 01' CR 250 Sound Check RUN 7:10

Finally finished the bike I torn down to the frame I wound up buying it off of a buddy built it from the frame up. Bike is scary fast MUCH faster then my old 97' CR 250. Check it out and let me know what you think.

my yz 125 makes that loud ping from the pipe too but its not that loud, im sure its just because yours is a 250 lol but yeah i just did a complete motor rebuild and total restoration on it so i guess that is what a healthy 2 stroke sounds like, at least older models you dont hear the newer ones making that sound, i love 2 strokes =)

@OxfordRiders Finally someone who has some 2 stroke knowledge ! haha It's the same thing as a banshee does with a set of pipes on it. If your 2 stroke doesn't make a ping and pop at idle it is because of 2 things, Your idle is to high or your bike has a garbage tune and runs like shit haha

way too much oil in the gasoline dont you think :P haha anyways, mate tell me HOW did you get the frame to shine like that?!!! I use blue magic metal shiner and I had a great result, but not even close to yours... btw, the white rear fender looks awesome! cheers mate

@Bull1shKill3r Thanks man, I used Mother's mag & aluminum polish. Blue magic is for old super oxidized aluminum. It's a white and red can that says mothers on it costs like 6 bucks and last months look it up on google.

@SkinnySkinch What tap ? Are you referring to the nice ping/echo my rebuilt motor and fmf fatty are making together like any healthy 2-stroke does ? Sounds damn good to me my camera mic doesn't appreciate how loud it is though if you didn't notice the distortion.

@DonovanxPetersen yeahh! haha you right, you right. i have my carb tuned exactly as it should for the pipe and it did not make that ping sound before the rebuild so im happy to hear that. 2 strokes are my shit lol
