Dick's 5 & 10 in historic old downtown Branson, MO., was owned and operated by Richard L. "Dick" Hartley, who passed away in December, 2006. He was 80 years old. It is now operated by his son, Steve and his mother, June. Among its many features are a priceless collection of autographed baseball photos going back to the 1920s, autographed photos of WWII pilots and their planes, and Carl Taylor's White River arrowhead collection. Dick's 5 & 10 is truly one of Branson's famous landmarks and tourist attractions.
This is one of my favorite stores in Branson :).

I worked for this family business for a few years and I really learned a lot about retail by spending that time there. Dick Hartley was one of the finest and smartest business men I ever knew. His wife June considerate and kind, always a kind word and Steve was a true friend. Thanks for posting this utube, I will keep it in my favorites. The best part, the portrait of Dick at the end of the film. Thanks for the memories. C. Lorenzen
