For those of you who don't know, yes FUNimation acquired the rights to distribute FLCL. So this probably means a new box set. Just as long as they don't re-dub it, then I'm fine with it.

@at0mskthepirateking hey I heard some sort of rumor (which I doubt but would like to be know for sure) that FLCL was going to have a 2nd season, would you know anything about this?

Well being a big fan of FLCL, I do a lot of searching into anything that's remotely related to Fooly Cooly. Every time that I do there is always someone claiming that either a second season or a movie would be coming soon. Each time as we all can say, nothing has come of it. Still, with Gainax giving Eva constant face-lifts, I guess it's possible. Then again, that might just be throwing more wood on the fire.

Well, so far I have not heard from a peep from FUNimation about a release date. All I've seen is their teaser site, featuring the picture I have on this video.

yeah they weren't gonna re-dub it. it was because the english adaptation was first licensed to SynchPoint, but they ran out of print and couldnt distribute anymore copies of dvds and soundtracks. Luckily, FUNimation came to save the day in 2010, hence why it says that in the video

I'm so fricking relieved that I finally bought the complete series on DVD. I had to witness a non-stop drive to Georgia...FROM VIRGINIA. I watched the series during the drive about three times :D. Yoji Enokido and Karuya Tsurumaki are geniuses.
