Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band with Jackson Browne, Tom Petty and Rosemary Butler " Stay " (Musicians United for Safe Energy) Benefit, concert also known as "No Nukes". 21/09/79 - MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, NEW YORK, NY
I remember that concert and the political dialogue that was occurring as if it were yesterday. The main "Agenda" was "NO-NUKES". It actually stopped the great push to build new nuclear powered plants in the U.S. So now we're stuck with old, decrepit, toxic nuclear facilities. The problem with nuclear plants is not the energy output, but the incredibly high risk of a failure, toxic waste in the cooling system and, storing of the toxic waste (think N.I.M.B.Y. Not In My Backyard).
Was this recorded on a potato

Fantastic!!!! I know the sound quality and video footage are pretty bad, but, it's Bruce and Jackson Browne in 1979. That in itself is phenomenal.

This was THE MOST badass show in its time. "Save the Whales" "Conserve Water" and "No Nukes".
