you could say this version is following the book very well while the other one with keira knightley is kind of another interpretation of it. I myself prefer the new one :0

Yes, this is actually a TV series from 1996 I believe - there are six parts. And then, there is the movie with Keira from a few years back. And there was also a black and white movie with Lawrence Olivier as Darcy from, say 1930s. And then, there was another, equally great British TV series from 1980s. Check on amazon.
