I think the point it that its condescending to assume a woman can`t handle her own problems. So Turk is at fault for assuming she was a lady in distress. He was all smug about it as well. A woman who reaches a top position like Miller can be certain to be able to handle herself. He should have shown her more respect. Thats my view (and no, I`m not a woman).

Elliot's question is tricky......mostly, because it's effing stupid. Being honest here, no one can be a "good" doctor. You can't master the field of medicine that's why it's called the "practice" of medicine. It doesn't matter what gender a person is as long as they have experience and credentials enough to do a job well.
