DC Reboot Rant 3-Teen Titans

My initial reaction to the cover and blurb for the reboot of Teen Titans. Spoilers, I'm not happy.

@Ayeshoo1231 Uh, no I can't. Cause even the comics themselves seem pretty unclear as to whether or not the original Teen Titans happened. The main series says that THIS is the first incarnation of the Titans but then other books hint that their might have been the old one. But then others totally contridict that. So yeah it's a huge mess. Even six months on.

So Death of Superman, Batman getting his back broken, and Barbra getting shot by the Joker, Jason Todd getting killed by the Joker. None of it happend now?

@SSJ3MJ See that's the problem, we don't KNOW!  Some of that might have happened and others not. And if it DID happen then it all happened within the span of five years which is WAAAAY too short of a time for all the crap to go down.

So basically, Young Justice never happened...? Since all the characters meet for the first time because this is a reboot. Now I just don't know what to expect from anything anymore... It's practically pressing the reset button on the DCU. That's so sad (well, for me at least)! I've been wondering though... Why did DC ever decide to reboot in the first place?

@SweetStixs Actually it's NOT pressing the reset button as SOME stuff will still stick around like all the various Lantern Corps. It'd actually be BETTER if they did a complete reboot as then we'd know what to expect but nope it's just picking and chosing. As for why they did it, to tie into their Same Day Digital release of titles. That's it.

Young Justice and the Impulse comics made Bart Allen My favourite super heros in the entire DC universe, and after reading Teen Titans issue one, I am really upset, They gave him Orange hair and green eyes....HE IS NOT WALLY WEST. and he isn't a green eyed ginger, he has brown/auburn hair and yellow eyes. And so far he doesn't really seem to have the same Bart Allen Personality that i grew to really love. I am honestly really upset about this stupid reboot ruin my fav characters.

i thought tim drake died <_< and the reason the teen titans was formed was to stop ravens father!! WHY THE HELL WOULD THEY CHANGE IT!! OR MESS WITH IT!!WHY DID THEY MESS WITH MY FRAV TEAM!! I liked raven robin cybrog beastboy starfire i liked them everyone loved them... why wud they mess with it whyy!! D: its not cool!! <_<

so let me get this right the relationships are all GONE Beast boy and raven GONE starfire, nightwing, and there Child NIGHTSTAR is gone, by the way Cassie looks like the poster child for super nun with that hood

Im done with comics for a while. I took a long break in the 90s and I might be due for another one. Shame really.
