For me, not only as a listener but also as a producer, there is a noticeable difference between GoaTrance and PsyTrance. Most of the times (with a big emphasis on the term MOST) psytrance has a more high pitched kickdrum and a more throbbing, dominant and repetitive bassline, while goatrance diversifies more...not as strict as psytrance. Most pystrance has no melodies just a bunch of fancy effects, its more industrial. GoaTrance is multilayered, more organic...

@FreeJosefFritzl if you think there is no difference between goa and psy trance ive got some bad news for you . youre either def or stupid and ignorant ,or maybe both .
go listen to cosmosis - howling at the moon and then come back and say is it
as nearly melodic as this is . no it is not . its based on crazy mind blowing psychedelic effects , thats why it is called psy trance.
oh , and one more thing , youre very immature for a 44 year old and who used to work as a teacher .
