The eggs and milk costs do go up because of transportation costs. Gas costs go up due to the price of a barrel of oil.

The price of a barrel of oil is so high because we pay for in DOLLARs,which are worth nothing due to putting too much $ into the supply.

Our money has less buying power, the $ of everything will continue to go up.

Stop complaining about prices, call you legislators and tell them to stop overspending.

no glenn...you don't ask why isn't big milk recognized because we don't buy milk in large quantities every couple of days.

I don't know anyone who purchases eggs en masse or in huge quantities, except for maybe restaurants.

i knew the gas prices would go down once we set up our secret piplines, its so sick how a country can steal all that oil , us citezens are all criminals that should be charged with recieving stolen property, and the charge would stick because we all know where the oil came from especially now that its down to 1.78 from 3.99 bush is a war criminal and i hope someone shoots him

Glenn, the reason why oil is bad is because there is limited supply of it and that leads to fighting to control it. Glenn Beck, America's third biggest celebrity moron (after Sarah Palin and Sean Hannity).

Glen is totally WRONG when he says ethenol is taking food from cattle. When you make ethenol, you only use the carbohydrates. All the other fiber, vitamins and minerals aren't changed... the cattle can't digest the carbs, so it's not taking food away.

About ethenol taking more energy to make than you get out of it, SO DOES OIL!!! Imagine that?

Corn is a BAD crop for ethenol... 200gal/acre acording to an expert David Blume. Brazil gets 2000gal/acre on sugercane, and uses the leftover material to fire the stills and make electricity... We can do the same with sugercane, but there are crops that may work better here. Subsidizing corn was a terrible move by our congressmen. I'd go with you on the nuke plants, but only 4th generation plants, not the type developed in the 60's. The plant's that can't meltdown.

I love this arguement that ethenol causes food shortages for farmer's... The feds used to go to the county fairs looking for the biggest, fattest animals to figure out who was making moonshine! Corn is a bad crop, granted, (approx. 200gals/acre) but the animals still get MORE out of it because they can't effectively digest carbohydrates. That's why a feed lot can feed cow dung to pigs. These days you can make alcohol from grass clippings! There is no need to comprimise our food supply.
