The venus project is as close as it comes to the golden age. I think it is very possible that that is where we are headed.

Either way, it is all in you head. In my opinion living in a tribal nomadic society would be a sort of golden age. All this technology and materism is cool, but is over rated. I want to see the stars, not the city lights.

@EltonJThe I don't take the bible as truth although I find a kind of truth in comparative religion and mythology. I do not know how the earth can be restored too the way it was previously. Most of the planets are extinct and just because some Saturn lovers were optimistic about the return of the golden age I don't see any evidence in the thunderbolt project that points too restoring of heaven and earth. If this happens the Earth would have too move and most of us would die in the chaos.

@wavepsychic "A New Heaven, and a New Earth" is as metaphoric as it is literal. The Son of Man usually speaks poetically. To answer your question directly, all of these promises comes from the Bible. Matthew 24, Isaiah, Daniel, and several Old Testament Prophets spoke of our time.

What David Talbot is doing is making these old scriptures easier to understand, even if he is coming from logic. A new heaven and a new Earth refers to restoring the Earth back to an Eden State.

@EltonJThe What evidence do you have too support your idea that we are going too get an new earth and heaven? This is the only planet we got and it's the attitude like yours that justifies the toxic waste dumping and destruction of our planet.

I don't see how we will just get another planet and the Messiah was the Sun that saved us from the cold darkness after these planetary events.

@wavepsychic No living back. Look forward instead. The reason why this is coming out is quite clear. Before the Messiah comes again, there will be wonders in the heavens that will be like what the Thunderbolts Project is describing. There will be a new Earth and a new Heaven. A new golden age. There is no looking back, we can only look forward now.

I do have a idea that involves the collision of our galaxies with others that might change the order of the Solar System. But I try to avoid theories ie stories and just go with the evidence.

I take very little of what 'conventional' physics tells me I should these days, and rely more and more on alternative (but still feasible) theories
