Yes it was, definately in the beginning. There were more aggressive skaters at that time than skateboarding and bmx combined. Watch the film "barely dead" for more info. Please don't state what you think are facts without actual fact to back it up.

i wouldn't call it the biggest. they cut a lot of cool programs i thought gave some people a chance. i liked the down hill luge. loved to see them crash into the bails. and sky diving, bungee cord jumping. im a blader but i have to say the x games brought things i never seen to life. if it wasnt for the x games i wouldn't know wake boarding existed, or who parks bonife was. it did a justice, too bad corporate took it over. sad
