This is a video taken while climbing the Half-Dome mountain using Cables (held to cables using one hand, the other hand was taken by the camera). This is 400ft climb after a ~8 mile hike to this point. All of it is a life time experience. Commentary by me. Harsha Narravula is also featured in the video (right in front of me).

  • @sebbbo77 "What made it even more scary was seeing half a dozen plaqs dedicated to deceased persons who were walking on the edge." Oh man, that's something you really don't need to see! "Oh look someone died doing exactly what I'm doing right now!"

  • @supersaiyanjow so you were climbing half dome at 14 and saw the guy fell?

  • @CaliBornNraised916 /watch?v=SBlLLtkp610 this was the day. why would i lie about something like that?

  • @supersaiyanjow I doubt you saw a guy fall

  • @werenotscaremongerin 15seconds? I doubt it took that long. Maybe like 4-5.

The cables are so easy to climb. Just hold onto the cable. Alex Honnold Free Soloed the north face of halfdome.

  • @koolcuttyanoop152

Im 13 also, How did you find the hike and what is your fitness level

  • @koolcuttyanoop152 Well, its been a year. Did you survive?

  • i also saw this guy fall off of half dome. it took him about 15 seconds to finally get to the bottom and the rangers couldn't id him because his carcass bc it was so thrashed.

  • @supersaiyanjow

The half dome might as well have an escalator.

  • I share your feelings. I walked up parts of the "Zugspitze", a famous mountain in Germany and there was ice on the granite rock. Problem was that the ice was so fine, so clear that you couldnt see it. Had I slipped, I would have gone off at least 800 metres freefall. It was terryfying. What made it even more scary was seeing half a dozen plaqs dedicated to deceased persons who were walking on the edge. Cheers man. Well done for climbing it.
