Sonny does not playing an Italian mobster. He took over the Port Charles Mafia from Frank Smith who was not Italian. In fact Sonny character is Greek and Cuban not Italian

i miss this GH. you notice the rating on the top left corner says TV14 V? compared to now GH is TVPG. TV14 was way better and the writers had full capacity to write to the fullest of there ability. nowadays the writers are limited to the PG rating so it's harder for them cause here writing for a family friendly audience.

I think they could have done more with that scene but it was still good... like how Manny said bye to him... lol...

I felt the same way it started off good like the eye contact then it fell a little flat but I don't remember that many Sonny/Manny scenes so thought it would be cool to show it!
