Wheely King Crawler

My Buddy Curtis Jones started out with a stock HPI Wheely King 4x4($220 RTR) and then completely modified it to build the ultimate climber. When he first got the itch to have an RC Rockcrawler, you could't buy one off the shelf, so this was the only way to get one. Now there are a few Ready to Run RC rockcrawlers that you can buy off the shelf(Axial Scorpion,Duratrax Cliffclimber,Losi Mini Crawler). They don't quite have the performance or "cool
factor" that a completely custom built rig has, but for someone with limited fabrication skills you can start having fun for $250-$350 and they are a great starting point for creating a sick crawler. Who thought going slow could be so fun!
