@MrNotch9 I've railroaded 30 years. I've seen the good and the bad. The frequent reference in this song to "the devil" matches the horror that sometimes come with the job. But I, and those who work with me, also have a go-get-em spirit associated with our job. If I died on the job tomorrow I would much rather have this song played than some sad dirge or ballad. That is the respect I would want shown to me. And I feel most of my brothers and sisters would feel the same.

@MrNotch9 I've worked in this industry for 30 years. I do not find "Devil went down to Georgia" offensive in any way, shape or form.

@robertgift what i think happened is that somehow the train engine stopped suddenly so the weight of all of the trailers pushing behind it ended up making it buckle and fold
