350 Chevy Vortec Engine Mounts / Plates 1987 Toyota Supra MKIII Project Car

Here's another video update on the 1987 Toyota Supra Project car. This one is of the Engine mounts / plates to mate the 350 Chevy Vortec into the Supra. It was fairly simple to do. Drill out the flat round areas on the frame mounts. There will be 4 on each side. Fit a Flat 1/4 inch piece of steel aproximately 8 X 8 1/4 on each side. Once it's resting on the frame mounts you'll see where you'll need to cut. Most notably the steering linkage shaft. Some trimming to the top of each plate may be required. Once it's set on and bolted in, the top of the plates should be welded to the frame rails. The engine will rest on there nicely!
Shorty headers exiting towards the firewall should be used. I'll be using sidepipes as well on eash side. No need in being subtle.
