@lookingforthemeaning please prove that 'property' has been around since the beginning of time. property is a legal idea (in the english language) the idea of property is not utilized in all cases of consumption or protection (the air above you is not owned or a property of anyone or group). Other similar exceptions currently apply.Also, valuing as property rather than a resource encourages hoarding 'crap' you currently arent utilizing, increasing storage costs. it is a silly idea and no more.
If you are paying for property you already own, you don't own it. Tax on property is payment for something you claim to own. You think you own land, but you are only renting it from the government. In a resource based economy the need to own something is gone. You use things and then give them up for others to use when your finished.
