So much beauty in the world -(American Beauty inspired)

Developing the idea brought up in the "American Beauty" movie - there is so much beauty in the world.
I used excerpts from the movie, BBC video archive, WWF commercial and videos, belonging to Sheridan Kelley. I also used an original soundtrack from the movie.

"Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in".

i like the video, but it's missing the concept. Beauty to ricky was atypical. what many would view as abhorrent or mundane , he saw as beautiful. E.g. The bag being blown in the wind, The dead bird, a homeless woman freezing to death without anyone to see her off, and lester with his head wound at the end of the film.

@stshill1 i'm really just crafting my message about appreciating the beauty of the world, i wasn't reflecting on ricky's views. yes, i took his words out of context and pasted in the video. So, to answer your question, the video celebrates the beauty surrounding us.

You are right, saying that we sometimes need to hold on and just look at the world around us and.. chill :) everything moves so fast in this world, you can hardly ever fully relax. and i think we need more of this - videos that make us contemplate, and... just breathe...

This is amazing, I find it mind-blowing how so many people can go through life never truly seeing the world for what it is. Just getting wrapped up in their own lives and getting influenced by the material world and the media. When they are missing out on the truly spectacular world we live in. We have heaven here on Earth, but people don't seem to be able to overlook the bad and evil within the modern world and just see it for what it really is. Very touching video..!!

Wow beautifully done. I like that you added people to your menagerie as we are part of that beauty if we choose to be. The scene where the girl reached her hand out towards the dolphin was sublime. As if she were reaching out to become part of a connection with all things beautiful. Magnificently done.
