Layers of sediment are flat because of gravity.

There are many unconformities, ''erosion marks'', in the Grand Canyon.

Erosion leave nothing, there is just a gap in the geologic column.

@gregrutz If you say the speed of the process is not part of the assumptions of uniformitarianism, you just removed the mechanism that is used for dating.

I could ask you why the layers in Grand Canyon are so nice constant/parallel without signs of erosion. If the layers were put down over millions of years, why is there no erosion? But I have the feeling nothing I say can shake your faith in evoluiton, you so firmly believe.

All the information about the unsurmountable problems with evolution are out there, some are mentioned in this video. It looks like you are so blinded by your bias/worldview, that you feel personally attacked when someone tries to show you the errors you believe.
