    That's EXACTLY why I don't care too much about the concept of "genre". Music is a language all it's own and speaks to whomever is open to it.

    In gold is Clydie King. In black is probably Sherlie Matthews, lyricist, composer, and vocalist (of course). Check 'em both out on Wikipedia!

    Clydie King. Check out her discography on Soulfulkindamusicdotnet. She's appeared on well over 1,000 songs and has numerous releases under her own name, starting with Little Clydie and The Teens back in 1956. Ronstadt, as stated elsewhere, got the best.
