ThatVeteran, Isn't that the point that Ted is making? Most of the nations were enslaved at some point and building your identity on that is harmful. The blood of the Union slodiers whether they died consciously fighting for the freedom or not is the greatest reparation.

Ted Hayes stated,

"I believe if anybody owes anybody, in this world, reparations blacks owe white people.. brown,.. red,... yellow. We owe the world reparations."

Ted also stated, "We started slavery."

Blacks enslaved each other.

African tribes also enslaved each other and sold each other into slavery for profit.

Ted is talking about instead of pointing fingers we should all actually come together with arms open.

they may be more spiritual, but their tendency to be more violent will prohibit them from ever taking a leadership role in anything. The ability to be a leader, is to have credibility, in this case, your credibility you are insinuating is based on your race's actions and demeanor. With this being said, you will never proceed to anything untill you fix your race, which would take more than spirituality. Obama is not leading the black race, he is an individual, not representative of others.

The biggest problem with the word slavery is that in the old terminology it meant an apprentice or student they were not beat & abused they were endentured servants this was like you signing up for the army or something of that nature...would you call members of the military paid assassins for the govt or are they obligated to kill by law??? Some people were forced into slavery then others volunteered like uncle sam will tell you ...You signed the dotted line!!

You obviously don't know your history. African tribes enslaving each other and selling each other to slave traders is historical fact!
