Papago Park is in the middle of town, between Phoenix and Scottsdale. The red crushed granite soil and buttes (earth formations) are it's unique feature. The park includes a golf course, a zoo, a couple of lakes, the famous "Hole in the rock" butte, lots of cabanas for picnics and many miles of trails with beautiful views.
