See You On the Finish Line (So Close 2) (Chapter 11) Marathon [1/6]

HEY GUYS! I GOT 300 SUBSCRIBERS!!! yay! so to thank you guys SO MUCH, i'm posting marathons of both stories. I'm starting with See You and then I'll do Waiting to Begin. Waiting to Begin may be tomorrow, i'll have to see how late it is when I finish with this story. I'll try to get these out as quickly as possible, but WMM is being a little annoying, so sorry if there are breaks in the rhythm. I appreciate comments on all parts though ;)

"What'cha thinking about?" she asked.
"Just how I know every time we kiss that we're gonna be together forever."
"How do you know that?"
"Because even after what? 4 years, I still feel the electricity in my body like I did the first time we kissed."
She smiled. "Me too."
"I kissed her again quickly. "I love you Rye."
"I love you too."
I reached over and picked up a brownie. I split it in two and handed her half. She laughed a little. "You know me too well."

{Riley's P.O.V.}
The Jonases all had blood drawn and all, and they were testing it for compatibility with Rebecca. Routine had set back in the next day except that now the Jonases were there. In fact, Kevin, Joe, and Nick stayed at our house to help out. Dad even let Joe stay with me the night probably just cause he was too tired to fight. And anyway, it gave Blake a much needed break. I felt bad for keeping him up late every night, but I couldn't help it. Oh and I forgot to mention that Blake and I swapped rooms when I came back from tour. The rooms were identical, so we just had to repaint and move our stuff and get me some new sheets. That way I could get some peace. I could now go into Blake's room, my old room, but I wouldn't be able to sleep in there. Anyway, we all got a much better night sleep than we had in awhile. Well, Blake and I did at least. The Jonas boys were still a little shocked, and I'm pretty sure Nick didn't sleep at all. He put on a brave face around Rebecca, but I could tell worry was eating away at him.
The next morning, Denise came over to make us breakfast and to clean the house up some since we had sort of been neglecting that kind of thing. She even got the blood off the couch and carpet in the living room. It was comforting in a way. My tutor came as usual while Denise was actually doing laundry, which I felt guilty about, but she insisted. Anyway, Joe and Nick had some school work they had brought so they worked while I was with my tutor. My tutor left, and we had about an hour till Blake would be home and we'd all be able to go to the hospital. But then Rebecca called me sounding upset, asking me to come now. I pulled Kevin to the side.
"I need you to drive me to the hospital," I whispered.
"What?"
"Rebecca called. She sounded upset. I don't wanna scare Nick by insisting we all go early, but she wants to talk to me, and they still haven't let me drive."
"Okay, what's our cover?"
"Something they won't ask any questions about. Follow my lead." I walked to where Denise had Joe and Nick folding laundry. "Um," I said, trying to sound embarrassed, "I need to go get something at the store."
"What'd you need honey?" Denise asked.
"Well, um, womanly supplies."
Joe and Nick immediately looked away.
"Okay, do you want me to take you?" Denise asked.
"No, you keep doing this. I'll take her," Kevin said.
"You okay with that, sweetie?" Denise asked me.
"Yeah, as long as he waits in the parking lot."
"Sounds good to me," Kevin said, trying to pretend to be relieved.
"Okay, well, thank you, Kevin."
"No problem. We'll see you soon."
Almost as soon as we got into the car, I got a text from Joe.
