if a company wants to waste money on creating bullshit jobs for their friends and family thats fine. but i dont think we should have to pay for it. and in a freemarket without corporate welfare a company that doesnt do this would be able to compete better than a company that doesnt.

Well i'm from the UK so i give jack to your government but i probably give my government more in taxes than you would. Those taxes are easier to swallow though when you look at the size of the NHS and how much it costs to maintain and how it benefits us.

I think its only because i live in a country with UHC that i don't buy into this anarchocapitalist\liberterian stuff its one thing to never have actual public services you care about but its another to lose them.

Governments can do good.

It was built under the assumption the Germans were working toward the same goal. With the benefit of hindsight we can all agree it was a silly thing to do but at the time the prospect of a Nazi Geramny with atomic bombs would have been pretty daunting.

However its the fear of government "waste" which saw those bombs being dropped on helpless populations. They spent all this money and they wanted to see what they bought, governments shouldn't fear being wasteful in order to do the right thing.

They make weapons to control competition not eliminate possible customers unless they know those customers won't buy their product then they eliminate them. It's like a company making a bomb to kill vegetarians to get more people to buy meat products.
