FAR CRY 2 on a 8600GT **No OC**

WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY (damn compression)

Gameplay of Far Cry 2 on the XFX 8600GT
1024x768, No AA (the key for fps)

You can play this in Very High/Ultra High settings with this card...but you get like 15-20 fps with (no OC, remember :P)...but I prefer playing in High/Very High settings with Shadows in Medium (like 30-35+ fps). Good for performance and the game still looks amazing.

Hi, your videos of new games with a 8600 gt are awesomes dude congratulations. I have a question for you, i have almost the same pc except for the cpu, it is an athlon x2 4000+, do you thing i can run the game on med/high graphics and no problems about the fps? Thanks

I think you can reach HIGH settings, in MEDIUM it doesnt look bad also.

I have the exact same card, but a single-core CPU and I get 10fps on all lows 800x600.

With an 8600 GT, on several I have to set most things on medium or high, shadows definitely have to be medium and I only get about 19-25 FPS, looks like you get at least 40 FPS or more. I have an i7 Processor and 12 gig of RAM and can't get it to run half as good on high settings. What is the resolution on that? I run at 1440x900 which is probably why, but that's the size of my monitor.

I have the same thing but 4gb ram and e6600 dualcore, it runs on high/very high with 800x600.

@msbomb "No OC" means "no overclocking." Basically overclocking increases the clock speed of a processing unit so it works better. However, in 9 out of 10 cases, this voids warranties, and may cause your card to overheat.
