Checking out the NiteSite NS200 colour NV on my air rifle, HW100k.
This unit comprises of a colour (obviously only during daylight hours) NV camera which attaches to the rear of your normal daysight, a 3" monitor with LED infra red light is attached to the top of your day sight allowing you to illuminate your quarry at night, and you simply just shoulder the rifle in with your head in an upright position and aim using the screen.
i apologise for the quality of the video it was recorded by just holding an iPhone to the rear of the screen. I will record a video again of it tonight so that you can see what an amazing bit of kit it is. Thanks to Scott at LiveLines in Armadale, Scotland (one of Scotlands finest airgun shops) for allowing me to 'play before i buy'!
The beauty of this NV is that once focused on to your reticle, it can be removed and put on any other air rifle, rimfire or centrefire rifle.... truelly versatlie and innovative bit of equipment to come onto the market for a long time...
