5/12/2011 -- URGENT !! NILU - Norsk Institute = ZARDOZ = radiation @ VERY HIGH levels

the ZARDOZ server is a data clearing house for the map generator over at Transport. I have attempted several times to "save a file" called "dutch" and see if it shows up over on Zardoz.... this does NOT happen.. therefore people are mixing APPLES and ORANGES on this map generator hypothesis, some people think when you generate a map over at the transport website, you somehow can input the radiation amounts .. this is not the case ...

These ARE forecasts, so they are NOT "real" satellite shots of radiation in the air.. i must clarify this for the lay person who doesn't understand that you cannot actually "see" radiation on a map like this.

these are forecasts that were based upon the numbers available to the NILU. NOT saved personal forecasts by joe anonymous who just happened to log in and "make their own" and input radiation numbers..

the only things you can input are your coordinates and the level of measurement (height).. and whether you want PPM or BQ/meter.

So the data was / is the data.. you can't change or effect that.. therefore all these plot generated "were valid" based upon the data that was on hand at the time.

Now the debate becomes.. how valid was the data to begin with, and if it was NOT valid then.. why did they continue until YESTERDAY?

So these are "real" and based upon the data that the NILU had.. these are NOT made up amounts.. just chosen locations and height.

I would challenge anyone who thinks that the transport map generator makes the files on zardoz.. to make one save it a certain name, and then show us the file on zardoz via screenshot.

If someone can do this, which I have tried to do by the way, then I will take down this video all together.

I read thought the comments but didn't find an answer to my question. Has anyone contacted them for an explanation of their files? I would hope they'd be willing to talk about what put out there.

@JTfromSTL yes.. they said that zardoz was a backup server... and that the reason they shut down is that there is NO MORE DATA to base their forecasts on.

there is an incorrect conspiracy theory that you can generate a map, and falsify the data somehow, and that one can then somehow "store" the false data over at zardoz instead of transport ...

its a BS story.. because I've tried to save a forecast from the transport site named "dutch" .. nothing shows up over at Zardoz..

So the information from the Zardoz server is able to be modified and is not accurate? If so, I am glad to hear it and I appreciate your research into this as I had no clue what I was looking at. The downside is that we are now in a blackout on any information about potential or actual releases.

Re: "Zardoz" - given these are simulations and the NILU specializes in selling them, I assume that the programmers, like most researchers, use file names to store/save their work which make sense to them. A dark sense of humor is entirely common in this regard, and would seem to be the case for these folks given the subject of the gifs (worst case scenario simulations). I would say however, it does prove at very least that whoever named the file has questionable taste in movies.

Huh I knew radiation would spray pretty much across the globe but there's no way these are real because if they were real we wouldn't be typing at a computer right now, we would be dead.

I know that radiation can take months or even years to kill but the levels of radiation in these animation would mean that we would all be dead by now.

@dutchsinse Sorry I must not be reading your last comment right where you referred to a misdirection tactic, unless you are referring to those people who were saying that you could upload your own projections.

That reminds me about their software, let me know if you want me to upload a copy. I might try compiling it this weekend to see if any of those other files on the server are able to be read by it.
