Apologize

After witnessing Logan and Jean kissing, Rogue realizes how "out of touch" she is with everything. She can't have normal relationships, well normal ones with someone in particular -- Logan. She decides she wants "the cure". As she leaves to go get it Logan stops her and questions her actions. Without really saying it is about him -- she tells Logan basically she's overseen someone she cares about being able to have a relationship with someone else, she wants that. She wants relationships where she can touch, show how much she cares. She wants to be able to touch the man she loves without killing him. Once she leaves, Logan does a little reflecting and comes to some realizations. He's the reason she's left and he's cared about her more than he's allowed himself to let on. (I know the sequence is short -- but the song isn't all that long.) So, he goes in search of Rogue to find her -- find her determined to go through with getting the cure. Once again the two part ways and Logan finds himself in a familiar bar, with a familiar bartender 'releasing his woes' and receives some advice -- go home, before it's too late to say he's sorry for making her think she needs to do this. Only once Logan returns he finds that maybe 'sorry' won't change things, because Rogue is still upset. And as Rogue leaves, we still see she's wearing gloves. Did she get the cure or didn't she and that's why she's upset? The rest of the story is to be continued...
