An organization whose mission is to bring free health care to some of the poorest countries in the world has turned its attention to the U.S. The U.S. Census Bureau reports nearly 46 million Americans have not health insurance. And so several weekends a year, an organization called Remote Area Medical, or RAM, flies doctors and equipment to some of poorest areas of the country and treats patients at a cost of under four dollars each. VOA's Jeff Swicord reports from Knott County, Kentucky.
@chrisitme how astoundedly ignorant to think wealth in a democratic society is evenly distributed. And that a government speaks for all its people directly on all issues and levels. That, dear poster, is what is really unbelievable.
And way to go gleaning the best from the video story.

I find it unbelievable that a country as rich as the USA can leave it's people to be treated by a 3rd world charity. And then attempt to influence other countries to live according to their "democratic" values...................No thanks!

For those of you who don't know his background, Stan Brock was Steve Irwin (Crocodile Hunter) long, long before Steve was even born.
